New paper in Advances in Water Resources on a multiple point statistics method to generate phases distributions within porous media and their control on solute transport and chemical reactions. This has been done in collaboration with the group of Philippe Renard from University of Neuchatel.
New paper on the local viscosity of non-Newtonian fluids flowing in porous media in collaboration with Markus Holzner' group (WSL and Eawag) published in Scientific Reports.
We are seeking two dynamic and motivated doctoral students for a project to study microbial ecology in soil analogues. The positions are funded by two recently awarded grants, an EU - Innovative Training Network (ITN) Grant (CoPerMix) and an ETH Research Grant. Apply now! through the Eawag system or ETH Zurich system
The SEP group and the Stocker lab have been awarded an ETH Research Grant to work on microbial processes in soil, using microfluidics to create soil analogues. This award will support a PhD student and will strengthen the collaboration between the two groups.
